Codicote’s history and successes are long and varied and since 1912 Codicote F.C. has played its part in Senior Men’s league in Hertfordshire, at present we have two sides playing in the Herts Senior County League. Codicote have once again expanded their youth section with an Under 16 and Under 14's team competeing in the Mid Herts Rural Minors League
Last season saw Codicote Football Club take several steps forward in our pursuit to reach the next step in non-league football. Our league position was enough to see us gain entry into the National FA Vase for the coming season. A feat, which most clubs in the Herts County League will be envious of.
We’ve also extended our roots to Hitchin Town Football Club, where our first team manager Dan Kennoy will be heavily involved with the running of Hitchin’s reserve side that will compete in a mid-week league. With entry into the FA Vase we have elected to play our first teams home games at Hertford Town Football club for the next two seasons.
Having taken these steps forward off the field, we now plan to build two squads that are capable of challenging for league honours at both first and reserve team levels which will help to keep our football club moving forward.
