Codicote maintained their recent form by thumping basement club Evergreen. The visitors were on top right from the whistle and with Lee McDonald given far too much space in wide areas by the Evergreen mid field, Codicotes wide man had the time and ability to deliver some quality balls for Codicotes strike force of Cumberbatch and Iwediuno. But with 12 minutes gone the Codicote supporters wonder whether this was to be a repeat of the second half against Wormley lots of possession and chances but none taken. Dave Iwediuno, Dean Jones and Lee McDonald all had clear chances to give the villagers the lead, before Cumberbatch showed the way, a near post corner from McDonald saw Cumberbatch first to the ball and his neat header sailed inside the post.

Soon the Cod were two nil up, a miss placed pass was intercepted by McDonald and this time he left the keeper no chance from 12 yards.
All the pressure was coming from the villagers, and when Dave Iwediuno looked to have missed the opportunity to get Codicotes third the uncompromising striker poked the ball under the keeper for 3 - 0.

The second half initially saw Evergreen trying to make a fight of it but with Ryan Solomon producing an excellent performance accompanied by Devoil, Hardy and Nymm the home side rarely troubled keeper Neil Cheek.

Codicote once again stepped up their game and with Fisher and Tomkins able to make quality substitutions soon the game was in no doubt. Both Ricky Pearce and Ben Smith were unlucky to find themselves on the bench but both proved worth. Pearce patrolled down the left after missing the last two games and gave Codicote that needed experience whilst Smith's energy was too much for Evergreen, twice the mid fielder was given space on the right and with only the defender and keeper to beat Smith obliged to give Codicote a five nil win.
